Pierce The Veil Greenville reviews
Certainly not a Misadventure to see this tour...
This was a really great show for me because I'm a fan of all three bands. I had seen Pierce The Veil a couple of times before, but never got a chance to see Movements and I The Mighty.
The show was Sold Out, so there were a lot of people ready for Movements when they started the show, which was cool. They played around 6 songs and connected well with the fresh crowd. Movements are post-hardcore/emo/punk/melodic similar to a band like Rarity. Very good live and the vocalist is very powerful. Well worth making the effort to see them live.
I The Mighty were next and they also did very well connecting with the hot crowd. I The Mighty are post-hardcore/alt rock in the similar vein of Hands Like Houses. Well worth seeing live for sure!
Then it was time for Pierce The Veil! They are absolute rock stars! It was pretty gutsy to play the entire Misadventures album like 4 weeks after it came out (and it's their 4th album), but they more than pulled it off and their risk paid off because almost everyone in the crowd knew every word to every song. They're obviously extremely talented and the guitar-driven breakdowns really translate well live. After Misadventures they came back out and did two more of their most popular songs.
